the Institute for aboriginal development’s OWN Eileen shaw IS ONE OF AUSTRALIA’S MOST WANTED! 12 August 2004 Kids Help Line have just the excuse you need to lock up your boss as the crew at the Institute for Aboriginal Development discovered when they nominated their Director Eileen Shaw for NATIONAL LOCK UP YOUR BOSS DAY for Kids Help Line on Friday August 13. This Friday at 9am at IAD, 3 South Terrace, Eileen will be taken ‘prisoner’ by the staff – led by Sheriff Terry Dunt, Eileen will be swapping normal work attire for a prisoner shirt and handcuffs as the staff at the Institute for Aboriginal Development take charge and ‘lock’ their Boss up for one hour whilst Eileen raises $500 ‘Bail’ from colleagues and friends. “Eileen is hoping other Indigenous organisations in Alice Springs will help to raise the bail money needed for her to be released!” said Terry. With help from the Institute for Aboriginal Development, NATIONAL LOCK UP YOUR BOSS DAY is aiming to lock up 1,500 bosses across Australia and raise $750,000 for Kids Help Line to fund more cries for help from kids in need. Kids Help line is Australia’s only free, 24 hour, confidential and anonymous telephone and on line counselling service for Australia’s 5 to 18 year-olds. Kids Help Line currently answers over 10,000 cries for help each week across Australia.
