Description:

This Diploma is recognised nationally by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI).

Interpreting Practice: Ethics and Techniques,
Part I: Basis Principles
Part II: Applications in Context

Pre-requisites: fluent speakers of Arrernte, Luritja, Pitjantjatjara and Warlpiri.

Career Opportunities:

This course creates the opportunity for Aboriginal people to become skilled and accredited interpreters. The content of each module relates to the four main areas that directly affect issues in and around the Central Australian areas. They are: Legal, medical, land tenure and social matters.
